Services/Rates

Statistics show that employees actually cost 2 to 2 1/2 times their rate of pay when their full costs are included: FICA, FUTA, SUTA, Medicare, workers comp, administrative costs, recruitment, training, management, compliance programs, base salary, insurance, overtime, vacation, sick leave, breaks and other unproductive time, office space and furnishings, equipment, software, etc. Because The Virtual Office Goddess is a contractor and NOT an employee, none of these costs apply when working with us.

Accounting Services are billed at $45.00 per hour and Office Support Services are billed at $35.00 per hour. All services are billed in 15 minute increments (1 hour minimum/month) – OR – you may choose to pay a monthly retainer for a prepaid block of time (12, 20, 32, 40 hours per month) at a 10% discount. If you choose to purchase blocks of time, any additional hours during the month are billed at the reduced rate; any unused hours do not carry forward and cannot be redeemed.

If you are ready to set up your bookkeeping, but are not yet ready to hire a bookkeeper, I recommend my book “How To Do Your Own Small Business Bookkeeping“, which is available in QuickBooks Pro 2012/2011, and 2008 versions and QuickBooks Simple Start 2010 (free version).
